It’s that time of year again — summer travel season! And if you’ve been keeping an eye on your favorite soap stars, you’ve probably noticed that many of them are taking some well-deserved breaks from the studio grind. One fan-favorite who's recently hit the road is The Young and the Restless star Mark Grossman — and let’s just say, his latest adventure is full of breathtaking views and a new romance to gush over.
Grossman, who plays Adam Newman on the hit CBS daytime drama, took to Instagram recently to share highlights from his trip through some of the most scenic spots in the American Southwest. Captioning his post, “Zion to Horseshoe Bend, with a few stops along the way,” Grossman gave fans a personal glimpse into his getaway — and it’s clear he’s been soaking in all the natural beauty that Utah has to offer.
Zion National Park, for those unfamiliar, is Utah’s first national park and a true gem of the American landscape. From steep red cliffs and cascading waterfalls to trails that hug the Virgin River, it’s a paradise for hikers and nature lovers alike. Grossman’s post included incredible shots of Inspiration Point, moody storm clouds rolling over the mountains, cave views, and even a stop at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary — a must-see for animal advocates.
But that wasn’t all that had fans talking. Mark wasn’t traveling solo — he was joined by his new girlfriend, Katy Johnson. Katy, who works as a realtor and model, made several appearances in the snaps Grossman shared. Whether they were striking poses against a desert backdrop or just enjoying quiet moments together, the couple looked completely smitten.
Johnson also posted her own set of vacation pics, giving her followers a fresh look at “one of the most beautiful places” she’s visited in the U.S. Her gallery included additional glimpses of Grossman, along with dramatic shots of the rocky terrain and wide-open skies. She even posted a video of a location that looked straight out of a sci-fi series — fans joked it felt like something right out of Under the Dome!
Clearly, the couple had an unforgettable time together exploring nature’s wonders and making memories that fans are now enjoying right along with them.
As Grossman gears up to return to his role on The Young and the Restless, this trip might be just what he needed to refresh and recharge. And with Katy by his side, it seems like things are looking pretty blissful both on and off-screen.
